Background:
Mr. Phelps represents the business and banking communities in and around Travis, Williamson, and Hays Counties. He focuses on real estate transactions for banks and developers: loan documentation; collections and foreclosures; and any other business elements that come into play for his various clients. Also, Mr. Phelps prepares entity documents for new ventures, including limited partnerships (LP) and limited liability companies (LLC) for real estate clients and general business clients. He has represented local and regional banking institutions and Central Texas developers for thirty (30) years and is intimately familiar with the needs of his clients as well as the markets affecting those needs.

Representative Experience:
- Was Counsel for a major Austin real estate venture concerning the acquisition and development of a large ranch in west Travis County at Steiner Ranch.
- Worked with a bank client for the foreclosure of four (4) commercial buildings, dealt with environmental issues, filed suit on guarantor, draft sale documents and negotiation of all buildings wherein the client was made whole.
